The BaziGua Compatibility tool lets you compare two people's birth charts across five classical dimensions — Spouse Palace, Day Master Relationship, Cross-Branch Interactions, Element Complementarity, and Yong Shen Alignment — producing a comprehensive score and detailed breakdown. Prerequisites for using the tool: ◆ Your own BaZi profile — you need to save your birth date and time on the Profile page first. The tool automatically uses your chart as one side of the analysis. ◆ The other person's birth date — this is the minimum requirement. Without a birth date, no chart can be calculated and no compatibility analysis is possible. Birth time makes the analysis more precise (four pillars), but can be omitted if unknown (three-pillar analysis). The tool offers two ways to enter the other person's information — share code and manual entry — to suit different scenarios. After analysis, you can select a relationship type to trigger an AI-powered deep interpretation tailored to your specific relationship.

Share codes are the most convenient way to input data for compatibility analysis. Every user who has saved their BaZi profile gets a unique 6-character share code, visible on the dashboard profile card. Send this code to a friend, and they can load your birth data on the compatibility page with one click — no manual date or time entry needed. Steps for using a share code: ◆ Get their code — ask the other person to log in to BaziGua, find their share code on the dashboard (a 6-character uppercase alphanumeric combination), and send it to you. They can also tap "Show QR" for you to scan directly. ◆ Enter the code — on the compatibility page, select the "Share Code" tab, type the 6-character code in the input field, and tap "Look Up." ◆ Confirm details — the system displays the person's name and birth date. Once confirmed, you can proceed to analysis. The advantage of share codes is both security and convenience: the other person does not need to reveal their exact birth date and time — just a 6-character code. The system automatically retrieves their complete saved birth information (including precise birth time and geographic longitude), ensuring analysis accuracy. If you received a compatibility invitation link (a URL containing ?code=XXXXXX), the system auto-fills the share code for you — just tap Look Up.

If the other person does not have a BaziGua account, or you simply know their birth date but not their share code, use the "Manual Entry" tab. Manual entry requires the following information: ◆ Name — optional, used only to label the person in the results display. ◆ Birth date — required. Select the person's birth year, month, and day. If they were born in early February, pay special attention: the BaZi year pillar boundary is Li Chun (usually between February 3rd and 5th), not the Gregorian new year on January 1st. BaziGua's calculation engine automatically handles the Li Chun boundary. ◆ Birth time — optional. If you know the precise birth time, enter it for a four-pillar analysis. If unknown, leave it blank and the system will automatically perform a three-pillar analysis (year, month, and day pillars), omitting the hour pillar. In manual entry mode, the system cannot access the other person's birth city longitude, so True Solar Time correction will not be applied. For the most precise analysis, it is recommended that the other person register a BaziGua account, complete their profile (including birth city), and use the share code method. Manual entry is particularly suitable for: ◆ Historical figures or celebrities — birth date is known but no share code is available. ◆ Quick tests — when you want a rough compatibility picture first and can refine later. ◆ Situations where the other person cannot register — when creating an account is not immediately feasible.

Below the partner information input area on the compatibility page, there is a "Relationship Type" dropdown. While this field does not affect the five-dimension score calculation, it is the key to unlocking AI deep analysis — once you select a relationship type, the system generates personalized interpretations and advice tailored to your specific relationship context. Five relationship types: ◆ Romantic / Dating — someone you are seeing or considering dating. AI analysis focuses on date ideas, communication tips, and relationship pacing. ◆ Married — married couples. AI analysis focuses on long-term harmony strategies, conflict resolution, and shared goal planning. ◆ Friends — friendships. AI analysis focuses on bonding activities, boundary setting, and ways to support each other. ◆ Family — family members. AI analysis focuses on generational dynamics, respect patterns, and family traditions. ◆ Business Partners — work or business collaborations. AI analysis focuses on role division, decision-making styles, and collaboration models. If you do not select a relationship type, the five-dimension scores will still generate normally. However, the results area will display a prompt: "Select a relationship type above to unlock AI interpretation." After selecting a type and re-analyzing, the AI interpretation will automatically appear below the results.

After tapping "Analyze," the system generates a complete compatibility report within seconds, containing four layers of information: ◆ Overall Score Circle — the large number at the top (0-100), providing an at-a-glance view of overall compatibility. The score is calculated from five weighted dimensions and accompanied by a bilingual label (such as "Heavenly Match," "Great Compatibility," "Good Harmony," "Average Match," "Needs Effort," or "Challenging"). ◆ Five Dimension Cards — the heart of the analysis. The five dimensions are: • Day Master Relationship (20% weight) — how the two Day Master elements interact: producing, controlling, or matching. • Spouse Palace / Day Branch (30% weight) — the most important dimension in compatibility, checking whether the Day Branches form a Six Harmony, Triple Harmony, or Six Clash. • Cross-Branch Interactions (20% weight) — cross-chart detection of all harmonies and clashes between every pillar pair. • Element Complementarity (15% weight) — whether one person's weak elements are the other person's strong elements. • Yong Shen Alignment (15% weight) — whether the partner's chart provides the Yong Shen element energy you need. ◆ Interaction List — a detailed listing of all Six Harmonies, Triple Harmonies, Six Clashes, and Stem Combinations found between the two charts, labeled with specific pillar positions (such as "Your Year — Their Day"), helping you understand where special chemistry exists. ◆ Element Comparison Chart — a side-by-side bar chart visually comparing the two people's element distributions. At a glance, you can see which elements are strong in one person and weak in the other, forming complementary relationships. These results are based on classical algorithms and are deterministic — the same input always produces the same scores. They provide an objective metaphysical perspective to help you understand the elemental dynamics between two people.

If you selected a relationship type before analyzing, the system automatically triggers an AI deep interpretation after the five-dimension scores and interaction list. The AI interpretation streams in section by section, containing four bilingual chapters: ◆ Overall Connection — a high-level reading of the overall score, analyzing what forces draw the two people together or push them apart. ◆ Personality Dynamics — how the two Day Master elements interact in daily life, communication patterns, and who leads versus who supports. ◆ Challenges & Growth — how clashes and controlling relationships in the charts manifest in real life, and how to turn friction into growth. ◆ Practical Advice — the most targeted section, entirely based on the relationship type you selected. Romantic relationships receive date and communication tips, married couples receive long-term harmony strategies, and business partners receive collaboration and role division guidance. Each chapter is presented in both Chinese and English. The Chinese paragraphs use standard metaphysics terminology for readers with a Chinese astrology background; the English paragraphs explain concepts in everyday language, suited for those new to Chinese metaphysics. The AI interpretation is generated dynamically and is not saved. Each analysis is a fresh reading — even for the same pair of charts, analyses at different times may vary in wording (though the core insights remain consistent). If you receive a particularly valuable interpretation, consider taking a screenshot to preserve it.
